## Key takeaways

- The amniotic products market is worth USD 9.28 billion in 2025, falls to USD 2.58 billion in 2026 and reaches USD 5.39 billion by 2035, an 8.52% CAGR from 2026.
- Medicare's flat rate of USD 127.14 per square centimetre from 1 January 2026 replaces average sales price plus 6% and cuts value about 72% in one year.
- Chronic wound care holds 84.0% of 2025 value; orthopedic and sports medicine injectables grow fastest at 13.2% a year.
- The market is fragmented: the top four suppliers hold under 10% of 2025 value.
- The FDA's target action date for the first amniotic suspension BLA, Organogenesis's ReNu, is 24 April 2027.

Medicare Part B paid more than USD 10 billion for skin substitutes in 2024, over 15% of the USD 66 billion it spent on all Part B drugs, and quarterly spending rose from about USD 400 million to nearly USD 3 billion in two years, the [HHS Office of Inspector General reported on 3 September 2025](https://oig.hhs.gov/reports/all/2025/medicare-part-b-payment-trends-for-skin-substitutes-raise-major-concerns-about-fraud-waste-and-abuse/); most of that money bought placental tissue. The amniotic products market covers dehydrated and cryopreserved amnion and amnion-chorion membranes, amniotic suspensions and particulates, and umbilical and placental allografts used in chronic wounds, surgery, sports medicine and eye care. Douglas Insights sizes it at USD 9.28 billion in 2025, about 9.60 million square-centimetre equivalents at an average USD 967 each, falling to USD 2.58 billion in 2026 when Medicare's flat rate starts, then rising to USD 5.39 billion in 2035, an 8.52% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) from 2026. The study sits in our [healthcare coverage](https://www.douglasinsights.com/industry/healthcare/), beside the [Advanced Medical Dressings Market](https://www.douglasinsights.com/advanced-medical-dressings-market/), [Wound Debridement Market](https://www.douglasinsights.com/wound-debridement-market/) and [Diabetic Footwear Market](https://www.douglasinsights.com/diabetic-footwear-market/) reports; every figure follows the Douglas Insights [research methodology](https://www.douglasinsights.com/research-methodology/).

## Which amniotic product application earns the most: chronic wounds, surgery, sports medicine or eye care?

Chronic wound care earns the most, 84.0% of 2025 amniotic product value or about USD 7.80 billion, Douglas Insights estimates. Orthopedic and sports medicine injectables grow fastest after the reset, at 13.2% a year to USD 788 million by 2035.

| Application | Share 2025 | Value 2025 | Value 2026 | CAGR 2026-2035 | Value 2035 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Chronic wound care | 84.0% | USD 7.80 billion | USD 1.60 billion | 7.10% | USD 2.97 billion |
| Surgical and soft tissue | 9.0% | USD 836 million | USD 542 million | 9.80% | USD 1.26 billion |
| Orthopedic and sports medicine injectables | 4.5% | USD 418 million | USD 258 million | 13.2% | USD 788 million |
| Ophthalmology | 2.5% | USD 232 million | USD 181 million | 7.90% | USD 358 million |

Chronic wound care leads because diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers absorb most of the sheet grafts applied in American physician offices, wound centres and patients' homes. In the third quarter of 2024, 28% of Part B enrollees with a skin substitute claim were treated at home, yet home care took more than half of spending, at USD 1,718 per unit against USD 1,099 in an office, the [OIG report OEI-BL-24-00420](https://www.aapc.com/codes/webroot/upload/general_pages_docs/document/OEI-BL-24-00420.pdf) shows. That home-use premium is the first thing the 2026 flat rate removes, which is why the wound segment falls from USD 7.80 billion to USD 1.60 billion, a Douglas Insights estimate.

Surgical and soft tissue uses, USD 836 million in 2025, hold up far better because hospitals buy membranes for tendon, nerve and incision repair under procedure budgets. MiMedx's surgical sales rose 21% to USD 142.3 million in 2025 and a further 9% to USD 40.0 million in the third quarter of 2026, its [results of 28 October 2026](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001376339/000137633926000094/mdxg-q32026pressreleasev.htm) show. Orthopedic and sports medicine injectables, USD 418 million, carry the fastest rate because a licensed knee osteoarthritis product could reach the market in 2027. Ophthalmology, USD 232 million, grows 7.90% on amniotic membrane use in corneal and ocular surface repair. Application values for 2035 sum to USD 5.37 billion, 0.31% below the headline.

## What drives amniotic product demand: diabetic wounds, surgical use or a licensed knee therapy?

Amniotic product volume rises 6.60% a year in our base case, from about 8.90 million square-centimetre equivalents in 2026 to 15.8 million in 2035. Four drivers add 8.30 points of gross volume growth before restraints remove 1.70 points.

### Diabetic foot ulcers and an ageing diabetic population: 3.40 points

Diabetic wounds are the largest driver, worth 3.40 points. About 589 million adults aged 20 to 79 live with diabetes and the total will reach 853 million by 2050, the International Diabetes Federation said when it released the [11th edition of its Diabetes Atlas on 7 April 2025](https://idf.org/news-and-resources/news/idf-diabetes-atlas-11th-edition/). About 18.6 million people worldwide develop a diabetic foot ulcer each year, 1.6 million of them in the United States, ulcers precede 80% of diabetic lower-extremity amputations and 42% recur within a year, a review by Armstrong and colleagues in [JAMA of 3 July 2023](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37395769/) found. In the United States, 40.1 million people had diabetes and 115.2 million adults had prediabetes in 2023, the [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)](https://www.cdc.gov/diabetes/php/data-research/index.html) reports. Douglas Insights estimates each 1% rise in treated ulcers adds about 60,000 square-centimetre equivalents of graft demand at 2026 volumes.

### Amputation avoidance and hospital surgical use: 2.10 points

Surgical and amputation-avoidance demand adds 2.10 points. Hospitalisations for lower-extremity amputation among American adults with diabetes rose from 160,000 in 2020 to 166,000 in 2021, the [CDC National Diabetes Statistics Report of 11 March 2026](https://usdss.cdc.gov/diabetes/data/statsreport/National_Diabetes_Statsitics_Report.pdf) shows, and 80% of lower-limb amputations follow diabetes complications, a [CDC page of 15 May 2024](https://www.cdc.gov/diabetes/diabetes-complications/preventing-diabetes-related-amputations.html) states. Surgical membranes are bought under hospital procedure budgets rather than per-square-centimetre Part B claims, so the 2026 flat rate barely touches them: MiMedx's surgical line grew 13.2% to USD 36.4 million in the first quarter of 2026 while its wound line fell 59.7%. Douglas Insights estimates surgical volume grows about 8% a year to 2035.

### A first licensed amniotic suspension for knee osteoarthritis: 1.60 points

The third driver, worth 1.60 points, is the likely arrival of a licensed injectable. Organogenesis completed its rolling biologics license application (BLA) for ReNu, a cryopreserved amniotic suspension allograft for knee osteoarthritis pain studied in three randomised trials with more than 1,300 patients, on 28 April 2026, its [release](https://investors.organogenesis.com/node/11306/pdf) states. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) accepted the filing with a target action date of 24 April 2027 and conditionally accepted the name Amnuvx (azimplacel), the company said in its [announcement of 6 July 2026](https://organogenesis.gcs-web.com/news-releases/news-release-details/organogenesis-announces-fda-acceptance-biologics-license). Douglas Insights estimates an approval would add about 0.9 million square-centimetre equivalents of injectable demand by 2035.

### Donor supply from caesarean births: 1.20 points

Donor supply adds 1.20 points of capacity. Placentas for allografts come mostly from consenting mothers at planned caesarean deliveries; the United States recorded 3,606,400 births in 2025 and a caesarean rate of 32.5%, the highest since 2013, the [National Center for Health Statistics reported on 9 April 2026](https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/releases/20260409.html), about 1.17 million caesarean births. Douglas Insights estimates under 4% of those placentas are recovered for tissue processing. Summed, 3.40 + 2.10 + 1.60 + 1.20 = 8.30 points of gross volume, a Douglas Insights estimate.

## What holds back amniotic product spending: the Medicare flat rate, FDA enforcement or coverage rules?

Three restraints remove 1.70 points a year from amniotic product volume growth after 2026: payment-driven exits of small suppliers take 0.80 points, FDA section 361 enforcement 0.55 points and coverage uncertainty 0.35 points, Douglas Insights estimates.

Payment pressure is the heaviest drag. From 1 January 2026 the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) pays skin substitutes as incident-to supplies at one flat rate instead of as biologicals at average sales price plus 6%, under the [CY2026 physician fee schedule final rule of 31 October 2025](https://www.cms.gov/newsroom/fact-sheets/calendar-year-cy-2026-medicare-physician-fee-schedule-final-rule-cms-1832-f). BioStem Technologies said in its [2026 registration statement](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001658678/000121390026082719/ea0299458-s1_biostem.htm) that the rule cut revenue per square centimetre for some products in physician offices by up to 95%. Douglas Insights estimates about 40% of 2025 suppliers, mostly single-product distributors, leave the market by 2028.

FDA enforcement is the second drag, worth 0.55 points. On 1 December 2025 the FDA told BioXtek that its amniotic membrane products Sanoplast ECM and Sanoplast Duo fail the homologous-use test and need a BLA, its [warning letter](https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/bioxtek-llc-715478-12012025) shows. Coverage uncertainty adds 0.35 points: CMS delayed the Medicare contractors' local coverage determinations for diabetic and venous ulcer grafts to 1 January 2026 on [11 April 2025](https://www.cms.gov/newsroom/press-releases/cms-statement-local-coverage-determination-certain-skin-substitute-grafts), and the contractors [withdrew them on 24 December 2025](https://cms.gov/newsroom/fact-sheets/upcoming-update-final-local-coverage-determinations-lcds-certain-skin-substitutes), leaving product-level coverage limits open to return.

## Where is the amniotic products market largest, and where does it grow fastest?

North America is the largest amniotic products region, USD 8.65 billion or 93.2% of 2025 value, falling to USD 1.90 billion in 2026; Asia Pacific grows fastest after the reset, at 11.2% a year to USD 766 million by 2035.

| Region | Value 2025 | Share 2025 | Value 2026 | CAGR 2026-2035 | Value 2035 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| North America | USD 8.65 billion | 93.2% | USD 1.90 billion | 7.90% | USD 3.76 billion |
| Asia Pacific | USD 269 million | 2.9% | USD 295 million | 11.2% | USD 766 million |
| Europe | USD 241 million | 2.6% | USD 259 million | 8.30% | USD 530 million |
| Latin America | USD 74.3 million | 0.8% | USD 80.2 million | 9.50% | USD 182 million |
| Middle East and Africa | USD 46.4 million | 0.5% | USD 50.1 million | 9.30% | USD 112 million |

North America dominates 2025 because American Part B payment at average sales price let list prices climb: CMS said Part B skin substitute spending rose from about USD 250 million in 2019 to more than USD 10 billion in 2024, nearly 40-fold, while patient numbers only doubled, the [final rule published on 5 November 2025](https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2025-11-05/html/2025-19787.htm) states. Its 2026 value of USD 1.90 billion is 78% lower, a Douglas Insights estimate, after which volume growth returns at 7.90% a year to USD 3.76 billion by 2035.

Asia Pacific, USD 269 million, grows fastest at 11.2%. In Japan, EPIFIX won approval from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on 8 June 2021 as a Class IV device for hard-to-heal diabetic and venous ulcers, [MiMedx said](https://mimedx.gcs-web.com/node/15156), and Gunze Medical began selling it on 1 February 2023 as the first amniotic tissue product approved in the country, its [release](https://www.gunze.co.jp/english/news/2023/2023010502.html) states. Europe, USD 241 million, grows 8.30% to USD 530 million, mainly through tissue-bank membranes for eye and burn care. Latin America, USD 74.3 million, grows 9.50%, and the Middle East and Africa, USD 46.4 million, grows 9.30% to USD 112 million. Regional values sum to USD 2.58 billion in 2026 and USD 5.35 billion in 2035, 0.67% below the headline.

## Which companies lead the amniotic products market, and how concentrated is it?

MiMedx leads the amniotic products market with about 4.5% of 2025 value, a Douglas Insights estimate, ahead of Organogenesis at 3.2% and Smith+Nephew at 1.6%. The top four hold under 10%; hundreds of small suppliers shared the 2025 boom.

| Company | Amniotic position | Latest filed figure | Estimated share 2025 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| MiMedx Group | EPIFIX, AMNIOFIX and AXIOFILL placental allografts | Net sales USD 418.6 million, 2025 | 4.5% |
| Organogenesis | Amniotic wound grafts; ReNu amniotic suspension | Advanced Wound Care revenue USD 531.2 million, 2025 | 3.2% |
| Smith+Nephew | GRAFIX placental membranes within Advanced Wound Bioactives | Bioactives revenue USD 621 million, 2025 | 1.6% |
| BioStem Technologies | Placental allografts; Neox and Clarix brands from January 2026 | Net revenue USD 47.5 million, 2025 | 0.5% |
| Sanara MedTech | TEXAGEN amniotic membrane | Agreed sale to MiMedx, 29 July 2026 | Under 0.5% |
| Gunze Medical | Japanese distributor of EPIFIX | Sales began 1 February 2023 | Under 0.5% |

MiMedx's net sales rose 20% to USD 418.6 million in 2025, with wound sales of USD 276.3 million, its [results of 25 February 2026](https://investors.mimedx.com/node/18771) show; after the flat rate its third-quarter 2026 sales fell 45% to USD 62.3 million and it cut 2026 guidance to USD 250 million to USD 260 million. It agreed on 29 July 2026 to buy Sanara MedTech for about USD 350 million of enterprise value, USD 35 a share, its [announcement](https://investors.mimedx.com/node/19031) states, and received a Federal Trade Commission second request on 15 October 2026. Organogenesis earned USD 563.0 million of net product revenue in 2025, up 17%, its [results of 26 February 2026](https://investors.organogenesis.com/node/11186/pdf) show, then USD 45.5 million in the third quarter of 2026, down 70%, with full-year guidance of USD 179.4 million to USD 200.0 million, its [release of 5 November 2026](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001661181/000119312526449831/orgo-ex99_1.htm) states.

Smith+Nephew's Advanced Wound Bioactives unit sold USD 621 million in 2025, up 6.9%, its [results of 2 March 2026](https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/final-results-1jj6tnzmczugxjk.html) show; third-quarter 2026 bioactives revenue fell 8.8% underlying to USD 144 million and it now expects the skin substitute headwind at the upper end of USD 20 million to USD 40 million, its [trading update of 4 November 2026](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000845982/000165495426009493/a6874b.htm) states. BioStem's revenue fell from USD 69.7 million in 2024 to USD 47.5 million in 2025, and it closed the purchase of BioTissue's surgical and wound assets on 21 January 2026, its [results of 24 March 2026](https://www.biospace.com/press-releases/biostem-technologies-reports-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2025-financial-results) state. None of the six discloses amniotic revenue on its own, so every share is a Douglas Insights estimate.

## How much does an amniotic graft cost per square centimetre, and how far did prices fall?

An amniotic graft averaged about USD 967 per square-centimetre equivalent in 2025, Douglas Insights estimates, against a Medicare flat rate of USD 127.14 from 2026. The average falls to USD 290 in 2026, then rises 1.80% a year.

| Price point | Date | Value | Source |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Part B average cost per unit, all settings | Q3 2024 | USD 1,470 | HHS OIG |
| Part B cost per unit, home | Q3 2024 | USD 1,718 | HHS OIG |
| Medicare Advantage average cost per product | Q3 2024 | USD 730 | HHS OIG |
| Medicare flat rate, all skin substitutes | 1 January 2026 | USD 127.14 per cm² | CMS correction notice |

CMS said current prices "can reach more than $2,000 per square centimeter" and that its policy cuts Medicare skin substitute spending by nearly 90%, its [press release of 31 October 2025](https://www.cms.gov/newsroom/press-releases/cms-modernizes-payment-accuracy-significantly-cuts-spending-waste) states. The rule first printed USD 127.28 and USD 127.19; a [correction published on 28 November 2025](https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2025-11-28/html/2025-21458.htm) fixed the 2026 rate at USD 127.14 per square centimetre. Commenters had asked for USD 400 to USD 500 for single-layer amniotic products and USD 800 to USD 900 for full-thickness ones, the final rule records.

The blended 2026 average of about USD 290 sits above the Medicare rate because surgical, injectable, ophthalmic and non-US sales keep higher prices, a Douglas Insights estimate. The price leg reaches about USD 341 by 2035: CMS plans separate rates for 361 tissue, premarket-approved and 510(k)-cleared products in later years, and a licensed injectable would earn drug-like pricing, while competition among hundreds of tissue processors pulls 0.70 points back.

## How does Medicare's 2026 flat rate reset the amniotic products market?

Medicare's flat rate turns a USD 9.28 billion market into a USD 2.58 billion one in a single year, a 72% fall, Douglas Insights estimates, because over 90% of 2025 value came from American Part B grafts priced far above USD 127.14.

The reset covers both doctors' offices and hospitals. The CY2026 hospital outpatient final rule, published on [25 November 2025](https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2025/11/25/2025-20907/medicare-program-hospital-outpatient-prospective-payment-and-ambulatory-surgical-center-payment), unpackages skin substitutes, which had been bundled into their procedures since 2014, and pays them on the same basis. CMS estimated gross fee-for-service spending on skin substitute services falls by USD 19.6 billion in 2026 against its baseline, the November 2025 final rule states. The CY2027 physician fee schedule, on public display from 4 November 2026, extends the USD 127.14 rate to flowable and particulate products per square centimetre of wound treated, according to the [rule text](https://public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2026-22743.pdf).

The company results confirm the scale. Organogenesis expects 2026 revenue 65% to 68% below 2025, BioStem guided first-quarter 2026 revenue to USD 5 million to USD 6 million, and MiMedx's wound sales fell 71% in the third quarter of 2026. Douglas Insights reads this as a price reset, not a demand collapse: wound areas treated fall about 7% in 2026 as home-use volume shrinks, but the money per square centimetre falls about 70%.

## Which rules govern amniotic products, from FDA section 361 to the EU SoHO Regulation?

Amniotic products are governed mainly by tissue law: the FDA's section 361 rules for human cells and tissues in 21 CFR 1271, the European Union's substances of human origin (SoHO) Regulation and device approval in Japan.

In the United States a membrane may skip premarket review only if it is minimally manipulated and used for its homologous function; the FDA ended its enforcement discretion for products that fail those tests on 31 May 2021, so they now need a BLA or an investigational application, its [guidance page](https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/cellular-gene-therapy-products/questions-and-answers-regarding-end-compliance-and-enforcement-policy-certain-human-cells-tissues-or) explains. CMS's CY2027 rule notes that "currently there are no skin substitute products licensed as a drug or biological product under section 351." MiMedx's dispute over AXIOFILL shows the stakes: a federal court vacated the FDA's finding that the particulate fails the 361 criteria in September 2026 and sent it back to the agency, its [quarterly filing](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001376339/000137633926000093/mdxg-20260930.htm) states.

In Europe, [Regulation (EU) 2024/1938](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2024/1938) on substances of human origin, published on 17 July 2024, replaces the tissues and cells directive and applies from 7 August 2027, the [European Commission](https://health.ec.europa.eu/blood-tissues-cells-and-organs/soho-regulation/new-eu-rules-substances-human-origin_en) states, bringing common rules for donor protection and tissue-bank authorisation. Douglas Insights treats these regimes as a floor on cost: every processor must screen donors and validate sterility whatever it is paid.

## What if wound volume or licensed injectables move faster: how large is the amniotic products market in 2035?

The amniotic products market ends 2035 between USD 4.01 billion and USD 6.90 billion across our three forecast cases, around a base of USD 5.39 billion. Post-reset wound volume and licensed injectables set the spread.

| Case | Volume leg | Price leg | Revenue rate 2026-2035 | 2035 value |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Slower | 4.50% | 0.50% | 5.02% | USD 4.01 billion |
| Base case | 6.60% | 1.80% | 8.52% | USD 5.39 billion |
| Faster | 8.50% | 2.80% | 11.5% | USD 6.90 billion |

In the slower forecast, coverage limits return in 2027 and cap applications per wound, the ReNu decision slips and Medicare holds one rate for all categories, taking 2.10 points off the volume leg. In the faster forecast, the FDA approves the first amniotic suspension in 2027, CMS sets a higher rate for premarket-approved products and Asian demand compounds above 12%, adding 1.90 points. One extra point of yearly revenue growth adds about USD 464 million to 2035 value, a Douglas Insights estimate. Even the faster case stays below the 2025 peak of USD 9.28 billion, so over 2025 to 2035 the market shrinks about 5.3% a year in the base case.

| Q3 2026 | MiMedx wound sales | USD 22.3 million |
| 2025 | Organogenesis Advanced Wound Care | USD 531.2 million |
| Q3 2026 | Organogenesis Advanced Wound Care | USD 38.2 million |
| 2025 | Smith+Nephew Bioactives | USD 621 million |
| 2025 | BioStem net revenue | USD 47.5 million |

The finding, a Douglas Insights estimate: about 70% of 2025 amniotic value, roughly USD 6.50 billion of USD 9.28 billion, was price premium above what the same 9.60 million square centimetres would earn at the 2026 blended average of USD 290. The OIG data point the same way: Medicare Advantage plans paid USD 192 million for 3,800 enrollees in the third quarter of 2024, while Part B paid USD 2.9 billion for 24,000, so Part B spent about 2.4 times more per patient. Only 2 of the 10 products that held 81% of Part B spending in the first quarter of 2023 were still in the top ten a year later, the OIG found, a churn the flat rate ends.

The ledger also explains why surgical and injectable lines matter more after 2026. Once sheet grafts earn USD 127.14 everywhere, margin comes from products outside the flat rate, so Douglas Insights keeps orthopedic injectables at 13.2% a year and surgical uses at 9.80%, while chronic wound care grows 7.10%.

## How does the methodology turn 9.60 million square centimetres into USD 9.28 billion?

Our methodology multiplies about 9.60 million square-centimetre equivalents of amniotic tissue by an average USD 967 each to reach USD 9.28 billion in 2025, resets 2026 to 8.90 million at USD 290, then grows volume 6.60% and price 1.80%.

The model covers 4 applications and 5 regions, using 58 data points, 24 sourced and 34 modelled. Volume combines about 7.45 million square centimetres of American Part B sheet grafts, 0.95 million of other American wound and surgical use, 0.45 million of injectable equivalents and 0.75 million outside the United States, all Douglas Insights estimates anchored on the OIG unit and payment counts cited above; injectables and particulates convert at the area each dose is labelled to treat. Arithmetic: 9.60 million x USD 967 = USD 9.283 billion; 8.90 million x USD 290 = USD 2.581 billion; USD 2.581 billion x (1.066 x 1.018)^9 = USD 5.39 billion. Volume reaches about 15.8 million square-centimetre equivalents in 2035.

Two cross-checks agree. First, CMS's estimate of USD 19.6 billion lower gross fee-for-service spending in 2026 implies a Part B baseline far above 2024's USD 10 billion, consistent with our USD 8.65 billion North American manufacturer value at ex-factory prices for amniotic tissue alone. Second, the 70% revenue falls reported by Organogenesis and MiMedx's wound line bracket our 78% North American decline, with smaller suppliers falling further. AI tools help draft the text and automated checks test the arithmetic and links; the Douglas Insights research desk chooses the sources, builds the model and approves publication, as our [editorial standards](https://www.douglasinsights.com/research-methodology/) explain.

## What counts in the amniotic products study, and what is excluded?

The amniotic products study counts amnion, chorion, amnion-chorion, umbilical and placental allografts and amniotic suspensions sold for wound, surgical, orthopedic and ophthalmic use, valued at manufacturer prices. Bovine, porcine and synthetic skin substitutes and cell-cultured skin are excluded.

The study splits value by 4 applications and 5 regions: North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa. Dressings used alongside grafts appear in our [Advanced Medical Dressings Market](https://www.douglasinsights.com/advanced-medical-dressings-market/) report and wound-bed preparation in the [Wound Debridement Market](https://www.douglasinsights.com/wound-debridement-market/) study.
