The US Food and Drug Administration cleared Siemens Healthineers' ARTIS icono and ARTIS pheno angiography systems under 510(k) number K254173 on 24 April 2026, the [FDA 510(k) database](https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfpmn/pmn.cfm?ID=K254173) shows, part of six systems on its new Optiq AI imaging chain, its [release of 12 May 2026](https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/en-us/press-room/press-releases/artis-interventional-fda-clearance) states. The interventional radiology equipment market covers the X-ray systems that guide minimally invasive procedures through blood vessels and needles: fixed single-plane and biplane angiography systems, hybrid operating room systems, mobile C-arms used for intervention, and the service, software and AI upgrades that keep them running. Douglas Insights sizes it at USD 8.30 billion in 2025, about 20,500 systems shipped at an average USD 405,000 of revenue each, including attached service, and at USD 13.9 billion in 2035, a 5.27% compound annual growth rate (CAGR). The study sits beside our [Robotic Angiography System Market](https://www.douglasinsights.com/robotic-angiography-system-market/), [CT Scanners Market](https://www.douglasinsights.com/ct-scanners-market/) and [Biopsy Devices Market](https://www.douglasinsights.com/biopsy-devices-market/) reports; every figure follows the Douglas Insights [research methodology](https://www.douglasinsights.com/research-methodology/).

## Which interventional radiology system earns the most: single-plane, biplane, hybrid OR, mobile C-arms or service?

Fixed single-plane angiography systems earn the most, 38.0% of 2025 interventional radiology equipment value or about USD 3.15 billion, Douglas Insights estimates. Hybrid operating room systems grow fastest, 7.4% a year to USD 1.53 billion by 2035.

| System type | Share 2025 | Value 2025 | CAGR 2026-2035 | Value 2035 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Fixed single-plane angiography systems | 38.0% | USD 3.15 billion | 4.6% | USD 4.95 billion |
| Biplane angiography systems | 18.0% | USD 1.49 billion | 6.2% | USD 2.73 billion |
| Hybrid operating room systems | 9.0% | USD 747 million | 7.4% | USD 1.53 billion |
| Mobile C-arms for intervention | 23.0% | USD 1.91 billion | 4.4% | USD 2.94 billion |
| Service, software and AI upgrades | 12.0% | USD 996 million | 6.4% | USD 1.85 billion |

Single-plane systems lead because every cardiac catheterisation lab and most general interventional suites run one. Siemens Healthineers calls angiography systems and mobile C-arms "the most important products" of its Advanced Therapies segment and puts the addressable market for them and related services at more than EUR 7 billion, its [Annual Report 2025](https://corporate.webassets.siemens-healthineers.com/a364b935102e7df5/d7fdacda458e/siemens-healthineers-ir-annual-report-2025.pdf) states. Douglas Insights estimates about 3,100 fixed single-plane systems were shipped worldwide in 2025 at an average USD 1.02 million; their value grows 4.6% a year to USD 4.95 billion.

Biplane systems, USD 1.49 billion, grow 6.2% because stroke thrombectomy needs two imaging planes. Hybrid operating room systems, USD 747 million, grow fastest at 7.4% as surgeons and interventionalists share one room for aortic and valve work. Mobile C-arms, USD 1.91 billion, are the volume end at about 15,800 units and grow 4.4%. Service, software and AI upgrades, USD 996 million, grow 6.4% as vendors sell dose and guidance software to installed rooms. Type values for 2035 sum to USD 14.0 billion, 0.86% above the headline.

## Which procedures use interventional radiology equipment: cardiology, neurovascular, peripheral vascular or oncology?

Cardiology takes the most, 42.0% of 2025 value or about USD 3.49 billion, Douglas Insights estimates. Neurovascular procedures grow fastest, 7.0% a year from USD 1.33 billion to USD 2.61 billion by 2035.

| Application | Share 2025 | Value 2025 | CAGR 2026-2035 | Value 2035 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Cardiology and structural heart | 42.0% | USD 3.49 billion | 4.4% | USD 5.36 billion |
| Neurovascular and stroke | 16.0% | USD 1.33 billion | 7.0% | USD 2.61 billion |
| Peripheral vascular and venous | 20.0% | USD 1.66 billion | 5.6% | USD 2.86 billion |
| Interventional oncology and embolization | 12.0% | USD 996 million | 6.8% | USD 1.92 billion |
| Other (biliary, urology, trauma, pain) | 10.0% | USD 830 million | 4.0% | USD 1.23 billion |

Cardiology leads because coronary angioplasty and structural heart procedures fill most catheterisation labs. Medtronic's Coronary and Peripheral Vascular sales rose 4.8% to USD 2.66 billion in its year to 24 April 2026, its [results of 3 June 2026](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1613103/000162828026040034/exhibit991-fy26q4earningsr.htm) show. Cardiology equipment value grows 4.4% a year to USD 5.36 billion, a Douglas Insights estimate.

Neurovascular, USD 1.33 billion, grows fastest at 7.0%: Penumbra's thrombectomy revenue rose 18.1% to USD 279.2 million in the third quarter of 2026, its [results of 29 October 2026](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001321732/000132173226000042/pen-93026xexhibit991.htm) show. Peripheral vascular, USD 1.66 billion, grows 5.6%, and interventional oncology and embolization, USD 996 million, grows 6.8%. Other uses, USD 830 million, grow 4.0%. Application values for 2035 sum to USD 14.0 billion, 0.88% above the headline.

## What drives interventional radiology equipment demand: lab replacement, stroke care, embolization or outpatient labs?

Systems shipped rise 3.0% a year in our base case, from about 20,500 in 2025 to about 27,550 in 2035. Four drivers add 4.30 points of gross growth; three restraints remove 1.30 points.

### Replacement of ageing labs with AI dose platforms: 1.30 points

Replacement is the largest driver, worth 1.30 points. Siemens Healthineers launched ARTIS genio, ARTIS icono.explore and ARTIS icono.vision with the myEmbolization Guide AI tool at the European Congress of Radiology, its [release of 4 March 2026](https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/press/releases/new-artis-family) states, and Philips says SmartIQ for Azurion gives 58% to 62% lower reference air kerma than its lowest ClarityIQ setting, its [release of 18 May 2026](https://www.philips.com/a-w/about/news/archive/standard/news/press/2026/philips-introduces-smart-iq-to-address-the-trade-off-between-image-quality-and-radiation-dose-in-coronary-procedures.html) states. Douglas Insights estimates that about 70% of fixed systems shipped in 2025 replaced a room more than 10 years old.

### Stroke thrombectomy and neuro biplane rooms: 1.10 points

Stroke care adds 1.10 points. Boston Scientific agreed to buy Penumbra for USD 374 a share, an enterprise value of about USD 14.5 billion, its [release of 15 January 2026](https://news.bostonscientific.com/2026-01-15-Boston-Scientific-announces-agreement-to-acquire-Penumbra,-Inc) states, after Penumbra's 2025 revenue rose 17.5% to USD 1.40 billion. Philips won a US award of up to USD 34 million for AI-enabled robotic stroke care on Azurion, its [third-quarter 2026 report](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000313216/000162828026069119/a2026q3-philipsquarterlyen.htm) shows. Douglas Insights estimates that every new thrombectomy-capable stroke centre buys one biplane system worth about USD 2.2 million.

### Interventional oncology and embolization: 0.90 points

Oncology adds 0.90 points. Boston Scientific's Interventional Oncology and Embolization sales rose 16.4% to USD 996 million in 2025, 12.5% organically, its [results of 4 February 2026](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/boston-scientific-announces-results-for-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2025-302678393.html) show, and Canon's Alphenix 4D CT, which joins an angiography system to a CT scanner, won [FDA](https://www.fda.gov/) 510(k) clearance, its [release of 19 November 2025](https://us.medical.canon/news/press-releases/2025/11/19/3838) states. Douglas Insights estimates that liver and prostate embolization cases grow about 9% a year, filling interventional rooms.

### Outpatient and office-based labs: 1.00 point

Outpatient labs add the last 1.00 point. The CY2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule made indirect practice expense higher for office settings than for facilities, its [fact sheet of 31 October 2025](https://www.cms.gov/newsroom/fact-sheets/calendar-year-cy-2026-medicare-physician-fee-schedule-final-rule-cms-1832-f) states, and the CY2027 outpatient rule removes 637 services from the inpatient-only list in the second year of a three-year phase-out, per its [fact sheet](https://www.cms.gov/newsroom/fact-sheets/calendar-year-2027-hospital-outpatient-prospective-payment-system-opps-ambulatory-surgical-center-0). Douglas Insights estimates US office-based labs bought about 900 systems in 2025. Summed, 1.30 + 1.10 + 0.90 + 1.00 = 4.30 points, a Douglas Insights estimate.

## What holds interventional radiology equipment back: flat hospital capital budgets, payment cuts or EU device rules?

Three restraints remove 1.30 points a year from system shipments: flat hospital capital budgets take 0.60 points, US physician payment cuts 0.40 points and EU device certification costs 0.30 points.

Flat capital budgets are the heaviest drag. Philips' Diagnosis and Treatment sales were EUR 8.53 billion in 2025 with 0% comparable growth, its [results of 10 February 2026](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/313216/000162828026006653/a2025q4-philipsquarterlyen.htm) show, and EUR 2.09 billion in the third quarter of 2026, again flat, as Image Guided Therapy grew mid-single-digit and Precision Diagnosis fell, its [report](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000313216/000162828026069119/a2026q3-philipsquarterlyen.htm) shows. China's sixth national high-value consumables round selected 440 products from 202 makers in January 2026, [China Daily reported on 15 January 2026](https://govt.chinadaily.com.cn/s/202601/15/WS69783156498e23165e06d0eb/china-expands-surgical-device-bulk-purchases-in-bid-to-cut-healthcare-costs.html), squeezing hospital procedure margins.

Payment cuts take 0.40 points: the CY2027 fee schedule lowers the conversion factor 2.31% to USD 32.63, its [fact sheet of 4 November 2026](https://www.cms.gov/newsroom/fact-sheets/calendar-year-cy-2027-medicare-physician-fee-schedule-final-rule) states, after a 2.5% efficiency adjustment to non-time-based codes in 2026. EU device rules take the last 0.30 points: Regulation (EU) 2023/607 extends MDR transition to 31 December 2027 for class III and implantable class IIb devices and 31 December 2028 for others, the [EUR-Lex text](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/ALL/?uri=CELEX:32023R0607) shows, so vendors spend engineering budget on recertification, a Douglas Insights estimate.

## Which region buys the most interventional radiology equipment, and where does demand grow fastest?

North America buys the most interventional radiology equipment, USD 2.91 billion or 35.0% of 2025 value, and Asia Pacific grows fastest, 6.6% a year from USD 2.32 billion to USD 4.40 billion by 2035.

| Region | Value 2025 | Share 2025 | Value 2026 | CAGR 2026-2035 | Value 2035 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| North America | USD 2.91 billion | 35.0% | USD 3.05 billion | 5.0% | USD 4.73 billion |
| Europe | USD 2.32 billion | 28.0% | USD 2.43 billion | 4.4% | USD 3.58 billion |
| Asia Pacific | USD 2.32 billion | 28.0% | USD 2.48 billion | 6.6% | USD 4.40 billion |
| Latin America | USD 415 million | 5.0% | USD 438 million | 5.6% | USD 716 million |
| Middle East and Africa | USD 332 million | 4.0% | USD 353 million | 6.4% | USD 618 million |

North America leads because the US has the densest network of catheterisation labs and stroke centres, and its first Allia Moveo site is Baylor St. Luke's, GE HealthCare's [release of 30 January 2026](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260130422339/en/GE-HealthCare-announces-U.S.-FDA-510k-clearance-and-CE-Mark-for-Allia-Moveo-and-marks-first-global-installation-advancing-precision-care-in-the) states. Penumbra's US revenue was USD 324.2 million of its USD 410.1 million third-quarter 2026 total, per its [29 October 2026 results](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001321732/000132173226000042/pen-93026xexhibit991.htm). Regional value grows 5.0% a year to USD 4.73 billion, a Douglas Insights estimate.

Europe, USD 2.32 billion, grows 4.4%: NHS Supply Chain's angiography framework, published on 14 January 2026, carries GBP 150 million for angiography equipment and GBP 399.5 million for managed services, its [tender notice](https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/003145-2026) shows. Asia Pacific, USD 2.32 billion, grows fastest at 6.6% on Chinese, Indian and South-East Asian stroke and cardiac programmes. Latin America, USD 415 million, grows 5.6%, and the Middle East and Africa, USD 332 million, grows 6.4%. Regional values sum to USD 8.75 billion in 2026, 0.09% above the headline, and USD 14.0 billion in 2035, 1.28% above it.

## Which companies lead the interventional radiology equipment market?

Siemens Healthineers leads interventional radiology equipment with about 29% of 2025 value, Douglas Insights estimates, ahead of Philips at about 26%, GE HealthCare at about 15%, Canon Medical at about 9% and Shimadzu at about 4%.

| Company | Interventional lines | Latest reported figure | Source date |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Siemens Healthineers | ARTIS icono, ARTIS pheno, ARTIS genio, Cios C-arms | FY2025 Advanced Therapies EUR 2.13 billion, up 4.2% | Annual Report 2025 |
| Philips | Azurion, Zenition C-arms | Q3 2026 Diagnosis and Treatment EUR 2.09 billion, flat | Q3 2026 report |
| GE HealthCare | Allia IGS, Allia Moveo, OEC C-arms | Q3 2026 Advanced Imaging Solutions USD 3.87 billion, up 6.1% | 28 October 2026 |
| Canon Medical | Alphenix, Alphenix 4D CT | FDA 510(k) clearance for Alphenix 4D CT | 19 November 2025 |
| Shimadzu | Trinias with SCORE Opera ST | US release with SMART Voice control | 25 November 2025 |

Siemens Healthineers' Advanced Therapies revenue rose 4.2% on a comparable basis to EUR 2.13 billion in fiscal 2025, within group revenue of EUR 23.38 billion, its [Annual Report 2025](https://corporate.webassets.siemens-healthineers.com/a364b935102e7df5/d7fdacda458e/siemens-healthineers-ir-annual-report-2025.pdf) shows; from fiscal 2026 the unit sits in a new Precision Therapy segment, which grew 4.8% in the fourth quarter, its [release of 5 November 2026](https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/press/releases/2026q4) states. Philips launched UniGuide 3D Live Guidance for Azurion in CE-marked markets from 23 October 2026, its [release of 29 October 2026](https://www.philips.com/a-w/about/news/archive/standard/news/press/2026/philips-launches-uniguide-3d-live-guidance-bringing-ct-planning-into-live-procedures-and-extending-the-capabilities-of-its-azurion-image-guided-therapy-platform.html) states.

GE HealthCare's Advanced Imaging Solutions segment, which includes procedural guidance, sold USD 3.87 billion in the third quarter of 2026, up 4.5% organically, its [results of 28 October 2026](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001932393/000193239326000058/release3q26earnings.htm) show. Shimadzu released its Trinias series with up to 21 voice commands in the US, its [release of 25 November 2025](https://www.shimadzu-usa.com/news/2025/2025nov27-2.html) states. Ziehm Imaging, Fujifilm, United Imaging and regional C-arm makers share the remaining 17%, a Douglas Insights estimate.

Consolidation among device makers is changing who sits beside the equipment vendors in the room. Stryker completed its purchase of Inari Medical for USD 80 a share in cash on 19 February 2025, its [release](https://investors.stryker.com/press-releases/news-details/2025/Stryker-completes-acquisition-of-Inari-Medical-Inc.-providing-entry-into-the-high-growth-peripheral-vascular-segment/default.aspx) states, and Boston Scientific's pending Penumbra deal would put the largest thrombectomy maker inside a group with USD 20.07 billion of 2025 sales. Merit Medical guides 2026 revenue of USD 1.64 billion after third-quarter sales rose 8.4% to USD 416.2 million, its [results of 29 October 2026](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000856982/000085698226000051/mmsi-ex99d1.htm) show. Douglas Insights estimates that larger device groups will push imaging vendors toward joint workflow software, such as embolization planning and thrombectomy guidance, bundled with new rooms; Siemens' myEmbolization Guide and Philips' UniGuide are the first examples.

## How much does interventional radiology equipment cost, from a mobile C-arm to a hybrid operating room?

An interventional system brings an average USD 405,000 of revenue in 2025, including service, Douglas Insights estimates, from USD 80,000 for a mobile C-arm to USD 5 million for a hybrid operating room system.

The price ladder follows detector size, plane count and room integration. A fixed single-plane angiography system sells for about USD 0.8 million to USD 1.4 million, a biplane system for about USD 1.8 million to USD 2.8 million, and a hybrid room with a ceiling-mounted or robotic C-arm and integrated table for USD 3 million to USD 5 million, Douglas Insights estimates. NHS National Services Scotland's interventional radiology consumables framework, awarded on 27 February 2025, is worth GBP 45 million across 18 lots, its [award notice](https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/007421-2025) shows, a reminder that consumables spend runs beside each room.

Average revenue per system rises 2.2% a year in the base case, to about USD 503,000 in 2035, because biplane, hybrid and AI-equipped rooms gain share and service contracts lengthen. Managed equipment services are the swing factor: NHS Supply Chain's managed services lot, at GBP 399.5 million, is 2.7 times its GBP 150 million outright purchase lot, per the [January 2026 notice](https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/003145-2026), so more hospital value now arrives as multi-year contracts. One biplane neuro room is worth about 15 mobile C-arms, a Douglas Insights estimate.

## What if hospital budgets stay flat or stroke and oncology rooms spread faster: how large is the market in 2035?

The interventional radiology equipment market ends 2035 between USD 11.2 billion and USD 16.8 billion across our three cases, around a base of USD 13.9 billion. Hospital capital budgets and stroke-centre build-out set most of the spread.

| Case | Unit leg | Price leg | Revenue rate | 2035 value |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Slower | 1.80% | 1.20% | 3.02% | USD 11.2 billion |
| Base case | 3.00% | 2.20% | 5.27% | USD 13.9 billion |
| Faster | 4.20% | 3.00% | 7.33% | USD 16.8 billion |

In the slower case hospital capital stays flat to 2030, China procurement cuts extend to equipment and Medicare payments fall again, taking 1.2 points off shipments and 1.0 point off revenue per system. In the faster case stroke networks expand in Asia, office-based labs spread beyond the US and AI guidance software sells to most installed rooms, adding 1.2 points of shipments and 0.8 points of revenue per system. One extra point of yearly revenue growth adds about USD 1.4 billion to 2035 value, a Douglas Insights estimate.

Live signals sit near the base case. Siemens' Precision Therapy growth of 9.2% in its third fiscal quarter of 2026, per its [release of 31 July 2026](https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/press/releases/2026q3), and GE's 4.5% organic growth point up; Philips' flat Diagnosis and Treatment sales point down. The signal to watch is Philips' fourth quarter: if Image Guided Therapy returns to double-digit growth, as in the fourth quarter of 2025, Douglas Insights would raise shipments by about 0.3 points.

## Which rules shape interventional radiology equipment, from FDA product code OWB to Euratom dose limits?

Three rule sets shape interventional radiology equipment: FDA 510(k) review under product code OWB in the US, the EU Medical Device Regulation and its transition deadlines, and the Euratom Basic Safety Standards on staff radiation dose.

The clearance layer is predictable. The FDA reviews interventional fluoroscopic X-ray systems under 21 CFR 892.1650, product code OWB; Siemens' K253752 for ARTIS genio and ARTIS icono.explore was received on 25 November 2025 and cleared on 23 April 2026, the [FDA database](https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfpmn/pmn.cfm?ID=K253752) shows, about five months. In Europe the Commission proposed on 16 December 2025 to drop the five-year certificate limit and cut notified-body checks for class IIa and IIb devices, estimating savings above EUR 3 billion a year, its [proposal COM(2025) 1023](https://health.ec.europa.eu/document/download/25e7ea7c-cab3-40cf-86d9-d11f5e7744d8_en?filename=md_com_2025-1023_act_en.pdf) shows.

The dose layer drives replacement. Directive 2013/59/Euratom defines interventional radiology and sets a staff eye-lens limit of 20 millisieverts a year, or 100 millisieverts over five years with no more than 50 in a single year, the [EUR-Lex text](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/ALL/?uri=CELEX:32013L0059) shows. Douglas Insights estimates that dose-reduction software and shielding now feature in about 80% of European angiography tenders, which favours newer rooms over life-extended ones.

## Douglas Exclusive: the Device-to-Room Growth Gap

The Device-to-Room Growth Gap is a Douglas Insights model of 10 inputs: 9 company records and 1 FDA record, listed below. It compares growth in interventional devices used per procedure with growth in the imaging rooms those procedures run in.

| 10 February 2026 | Philips: 2025 Diagnosis and Treatment flat | Room demand |
| 24 February 2026 | Merit Medical: 2025 Peripheral Intervention up 9% | Procedure demand |
| 25 February 2026 | Penumbra: 2025 revenue up 17.5% | Procedure demand |
| 24 April 2026 | FDA clears K254173 ARTIS icono and pheno | Replacement supply |
| 28 October 2026 | GE HealthCare: Q3 2026 AIS up 4.5% organic | Room demand |
| 29 October 2026 | Penumbra: Q3 2026 revenue up 15.6% | Procedure demand |
| 29 October 2026 | Merit Medical: Q3 2026 revenue up 9% organic | Procedure demand |

The finding, a Douglas Insights estimate: interventional device makers grew about 12% a year on average in 2025 and 2026, from 9% at Merit to 17.5% at Penumbra, while imaging room makers grew about 3% to 4%, a gap of about 8 points. Since devices track procedures, case volumes per room are rising roughly 6% to 8% a year, which shortens the useful life of each lab and brings replacement forward by about one year per decade of use.

The gap changes how to read flat equipment sales. Philips' 0% Diagnosis and Treatment growth in 2025 is not a sign of falling demand; rooms are working harder, and Douglas Insights estimates that the installed base of about 46,000 fixed rooms ran at about 85% of practical capacity in 2026 against about 75% in 2022. If the gap holds, fixed-system shipments should rise above 4% a year from 2028.

## How does the methodology turn 20,500 systems into USD 8.30 billion?

Our methodology multiplies about 20,500 interventional systems shipped in 2025 by an average USD 405,000 of revenue each, including attached service, to reach USD 8.30 billion, then grows shipments 3.0% a year and revenue per system 2.2% a year.

The model covers 5 system types, 5 applications and 5 regions, using 64 data points, 23 sourced and 41 modelled. Systems come from a build of about 3,100 single-plane, 650 biplane, 180 hybrid operating room systems and 16,570 mobile C-arms, including 770 high-end C-arms counted in hybrid and service lines, Douglas Insights estimates drawn from vendor disclosures and installed-base counts. Arithmetic: 20,500 x USD 405,000 = USD 8.30 billion; USD 8.30 billion x (1.030 x 1.022)^10 = USD 13.9 billion. Shipments reach about 21,100 in 2026 and 27,550 in 2035.

Two cross-checks agree. First, our 29% Siemens Healthineers share equals about USD 2.41 billion, close to its EUR 2.13 billion fiscal 2025 Advanced Therapies revenue at an average exchange rate of about USD 1.13 per euro, a Douglas Insights conversion. Second, Siemens' own addressable market of more than EUR 7 billion, about USD 7.9 billion, sits about 5% below our USD 8.30 billion total, which also counts software upgrades. AI tools help draft the text and automated checks test the arithmetic and links; the Douglas Insights research desk chooses the sources, builds the model and approves publication, as our [editorial standards](https://www.douglasinsights.com/research-methodology/) explain.

## What counts in the interventional radiology equipment study, and what is excluded?

The interventional radiology equipment study counts fixed single-plane and biplane angiography systems, hybrid operating room systems, mobile C-arms used for intervention, and their service, software and AI upgrades. Catheters, guidewires, embolics, stents and diagnostic-only X-ray rooms are excluded.

The study splits value by 5 system types, 5 applications and 5 regions: North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa.
